COAHUILA – With the arrival of foreign investment, 67,500 new jobs have been generated in Coahuila, as a result of the confirmation of 150 projects, in which US$8.4 billion have been invested, informed Jaime Guerra Perez, minister of Economy in Coahuila.
He stated that this represents a new record for the state in terms of new foreign investment projects.
The minister commented that another 54 investment projects are still in the pipeline, representing US$3.2 billion, to generate another 44,000 direct jobs.
In this regard, he said, the six-year term could end with 204 projects and an investment of US$11.7 billion.
This would ratify Coahuila as the third state with the greatest arrival of foreign investment and with the possibility of reaching the second position.
