The Spanish company Acciona Windpower, dedicated to the design, manufacture and sale of wind turbines, will operate the Ventika wind farm in Nuevo Leon, during the second half of this year.
Also, about 50% of Ventika II will also be installed in Nuevo Leon, and the Ingenio wind farm will be installed in Oaxaca. Acciona Windpower plans to start up a total of 805.5 MW in North America, during 2015. 94% of that capacity will be harvested from 3-MW wind turbines. By late 2015, there will be 2.346 MW operating in North America with Acciona Windpower wind turbines of 3 MW and 1.5 MW, which represent 41% of the company´s installed capacity, globally. 1,372.5 MW will be installed in the U.S.; 796.5 MW in Mexico and 177 MW in Canada.
