Aerial cargo grows in Tijuana

The Tijuana airport, in the state of Baja California, isn´t only growing passenger wise, it has also increased its demand for cargo flights. In this sense, Federal Express inaugurated a flight to Memphis, in the United States.

The company will offer its customers advantages, logistics wise, as the flights will be available Monday through Friday for imports since early in the morning and for exports at night.

The flights will be carried out by the Boeing 757 aircraft with the capacity to transport up to 29 tons of goods and will connect with Memphis.

The investment generated a total of 100 jobs at the airport and it adds to the operation that FedEx has at the airports of Querétaro, Toluca, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mérida.
