BAJA CALIFORNIA – The Baja California Department of Tourism and Aeromexico announced the reactivation of the Tijuana – Guadalajara route for the season, which began operating on July 1 and will end on August 18.
According to Baja California authorities, the route will have 10 weekly frequencies, ensuring ample availability for travelers.
Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, Baja California’s Secretary of Tourism, highlighted the importance of this flight, assuring that it will allow a better dynamism.
“We are excited about the reactivation of the Tijuana-Guadalajara route. This new air link not only strengthens the connectivity of our state, but also dynamizes the flow of visitors to Baja California. We thank Aeromexico for its constant support and trust, which facilitates a more efficient interconnection between these two strategic cities,” said Aguiñiga.
According to the Baja California Visitor Profile 2022-2023, Jalisco represents 6.2% of domestic travelers arriving to the region. This data reflects the relevance of this market for tourism in the state, evidencing the interest of visitors for the unique landscapes, rich cultural heritage and the most revolutionary gastronomy in Mexico.
Pasquale Speranza, Vice President of Sales Mexico commented the route will strengthen border connectivity.
