NUEVO LAREO, TAM – With the beginning of the peak crossing season for Paisanos, the Municipal Government of Nuevo Laredo announced that it has begun the installation of emergency assistance modules to provide guidance to Mexican nationals who use this border to reach the interior of the country.
The modules will be in the area of CIITEV in the lower and upper part; one more on Colosio Boulevard and Las Torres Boulevard at the height of Fire Station 4, where there will be units with paramedics and mechanical aid.
“We will be working with all the agencies so that our fellow countrymen have that quality of security, tranquility and effectiveness of our elements that will be on the alert,” said Humberto Fernandez Diez de Pinos, director of Civil Protection and Firefighters.
The head of the agency pointed out that in the event that the line extends, the skating area and Las Garzas will be enabled. Likewise, in order to safeguard the integrity of the nationals, there will be elements from the Traffic and Roads Department, National Guard, State Guard and the National Defense Secretariat (SEDENA).
In addition, a satellite unit will be monitoring the route with intermittent routes and will be stationed at times at kilometer 26.
The Nuevo Laredo City Hall informed that the arrival of paisanos who are mainly headed to the states of Zacatecas, Queretaro and San Luis Potosi is expected.
