TIJUANA – At least 350 Central American migrants have joined Tijuana’s industry, informed the president of Asociación de Recursos Humanos de la Industria en Tijuana A.C (Arhitac), Ulises Araiza Sanchez.
According to the leader, a company in Tijuana hired 350 migrants in order to complete its workforce of 8,000 employees.
“Those who wanted to stay, have chosen to stay in the city and integrate. There are opportunities for those who want to work,” stressed the director of Arhitac.
Araiza Sanchez indicated that there are currently 4,500 vacancies available in the industry, so it is necessary to hire more people.
