
Auto parts production in Coahuila grew 14.29% during the first two months of 2026, reaching a value of US$3.1 billion, confirming the sector’s strong momentum and its strategic role within Mexico’s automotive industry.
According to industry data, the state also accounted for 15.6% of total national auto parts production during the period, positioning it as a national leader in the sector.
At the national level, auto parts production totaled US$20.2 billion, representing a 10.49% increase compared to the same period last year. In February alone, production reached US$10.2 billion, marking an 11.62% year-over-year growth, reflecting a positive trend across the automotive supply chain.
Coahuila’s performance reinforces its status as one of Mexico’s leading industrial hubs, particularly within the context of North American automotive integration. The sustained growth of the sector supports export-driven manufacturing and strengthens the state’s role in regional and global supply chains.
