Automotive Lighting, an Italian manufacturer of automotive lights, will inaugurate its fourth plant located in Ciudad Juarez at the Omega Industrial Park, with a 14,000 square feet surface. Between 800 and 1,000 new employees will be hired.
All the bulbs for BMW will be manufactured at this plant and will be supplied to the U.S market. It is expected for the plant to be ready to operate by February-March 2016. This facility has huge plastic injection machineries that feed the production lines, helped by robots. In these production lines, hundreds of workers assemble, test and pack every lamp and then send them to the U.S. market.
