CHIHUAHUA – According to the latest report presented by the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) during the third quarter of the year, Chihuahuan companies such as Bafar and Interceramic showed a growth of 12.9% and 3.9%, respectively, in annual net sales.
Bafar achieved double-digit growth in 2019 compared to the previous year, achieving a 12.9% increase in revenue and a 16.1% increase in flow generation in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA).
Bafar explained that despite the pressures on the national economy and global events, they managed to implement initiatives to increase productivity and business capabilities. They also made investments for more than US$36 million in these nine months of the year.
Meanwhile, Interceramic sales in Mexico during the third quarter of the year were of US$104 million, 3.9% higher than those recorded in the same period of 2018.
Likewise, the company’s sales in international markets during the third quarter were of US$36.2 million, practically equal to the same period last year.
