A high-level delegation from Baja California has concluded a major international outreach effort, the 2025 Road Show, laying the groundwork for new investment and strengthened global supply chains. The tour, which included over 40 meetings with embassies, business chambers, and corporations across North America, Europe, and Asia, aimed to expand strategic alliances and plan future trade missions for 2026.
The delegation promoted the state’s industrial strengths in key sectors such as aerospace, semiconductors, advanced electronics, and medical devices to representatives from eleven countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, and France. The tour yielded concrete preliminary agreements, including confirmed participation in the prestigious Farnborough International Airshow and specialized meetings scheduled with Swiss, Japanese, and Canadian companies in the coming year.
A central objective of the mission was to reinforce Baja California’s role in global supply chains, with a specific focus on the aerospace, automotive, and medical device industries. As a direct outcome, officials advanced a technical agenda with automaker Nissan to evaluate potential supply chain integrations before the end of 2025.
The itinerary also featured corporate visits to the operations of global giants Becton Dickinson (BD) and Bimbo. These meetings focused on reviewing current expansion projects and collaborating on talent development and training programs to support the growing industrial sector.
The delegation was composed of officials from the Ministry of Economy and Innovation alongside key local business organizations. Participants confirmed that the agreements reached will not only advance ongoing projects but also establish new pathways for international collaboration throughout 2026.
