TIJUANA – In March, Baja California ranked second nationally in terms of employment generation in the manufacturing, maquiladora and Export Service Industry (IMMEX) sector.
According to the president of the Human Resources Industry Association (Arhitac) in Tijuana, Heriberto Galindo, the month of March closed well in terms of job creation.
He mentioned that in 2020 they were affected by the lack of delivery of export products for customers, however, efforts are now being redoubled to deliver these items, which means that there has been a growth in hiring and hours worked.
The Arhitac leader affirmed that despite the current situation of expectations around the world, new investments continue to arrive in Baja California.
