Barnes Aerospace, producer of structural components, turbine parts based on aluminum, steel and composite materials, has recently established a plant at Calafia II Industrial Park, in Mexicali, Baja California, with an US$8 million investment in several phases, informed Carlos Bonfante Olache, head of the Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO).
He added that 50 high added-value jobs are going to be created, as this is a company that works with high-tech specialties. This company is coming to strengthen the supply chain that is being demanded by Baja California enterprises of the sector. Barnes Group works are extended throughout 60 communities located in four continents, with a human capital of 4,400 employees.
