The agreement for understanding between the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO) in Baja California is now effective, in order to create a project known as the “golden triangle”. This economic partnership will be conformed by the States of California, Arizona and Baja California with the intention of boosting the bi-national economy and extending the commercial ties in the area, with other border US states, first with California in the Cali-Baja zone and now with the Ari-Baja region. Additionally, the primary niches of opportunity to develop projects are the aerospace, medical devices, health care technology industries and services, as well as advanced manufacturing.
