ENSENADA, BC – The Ministry of Tourism of Baja California, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of the Government of Mexico and the National Employment Service have issued an invitation to participate in the Tourism Job Fair.
This event will take place next March 5th at the Riviera del Pacífico Civic and Cultural Center, in Ensenada, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The main objective is to connect Baja California residents with job opportunities in national and international companies in the tourism sector.
According to Baja California Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, this fair highlights the importance of the tourism value chain. “Tourism not only generates jobs, but also boosts the vocations of each destination. We seek to contribute to the integral development of our society through the opportunities that tourism offers,” he commented.
During the event, jobs will be offered in areas such as lodging, customer service, administration, accounting, casinos, entertainment, food and beverages, engineering and machinery.
Some of the companies that will be present are Carnival Cruise Lines, Grupo ITM, Corporativo Cancún, Lost Mayan Kingdom, Cabo Rojo and Costa Maya.
The cruise companies, for example, will facilitate the management of work visas and offer attractive benefits such as salary adjustments based on the employee’s skills, social security coverage, integration into exceptional work teams and the possibility of being assigned to itineraries around the world.
