CIUDAD JUAREZ – Cámara Nacional de la Industria de la Transformación (Canacintra), announced at a press conference its concerns due to the lack of operating rules for the border decree, as well as the authorization to expand the registration of companies to invoice VAT to 8%.
This publication of rules had to be made last March 15th, after the visit of the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador to this border last January 5th.
Raul De Leon, President of Canacintra, said he has been pushing the federal authority in order for them to publish the rules of operation.
He added that the companies that are in the registration process, have had problems due to the number of documents they request, which is why some companies ask for more days.
