Career fair prepared in Yuma
YUMA, AZ – The City of Yuma will host a Career Fair next Monday, January 29, for those seeking a job opportunity.
According to the City Council, the event will be held at the East Wing of the Yuma Civic Center, located at 1440 W. Desert Hills Drive, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The fair is free and open to anyone interested in learning about job opportunities available in the city.
Visitors will be able to meet representatives from all city departments, who will inform them about requirements, promotional opportunities and how to apply for jobs in each area.
Representatives from the Human Resources Department will also be available to answer questions about the application process and to provide a list of current openings.
“The Career Fair is an excellent opportunity for Yuma residents to learn about the many job opportunities the city has to offer,” said Monica Welch, Human Resources Director. “We have a wide variety of positions available, from entry-level to professional-level positions, in a variety of fields. We encourage everyone to come to the fair and find out what the City of Yuma has to offer.”
