Authorities from Nuevo Leon are confident that Carrier Corporation will start operations in the Municipality of Santa Catarina as of March 2017, since there are workers who have been already hired and the plant is complete, despite the issued announcement of not relocating its Indiana production to this Mexican town.
As there is no official statement from the firm, the plant’s works are ongoing and it is expected to start operations in March 2017, generating over 2,000 jobs, indicated the Mayor of this Municipality, Hector Castillo Olivares.
