“ChambaBot”, an AI-operated job search platform, launched in Chihuahua

CHIHUAHUA – The Municipality of Chihuahua presented the website “ChambaBot” to make it easier for citizens to search for employment and consult hundreds of job boards and social networks.

During the presentation, held at the Technological University of Chihuahua, it was highlighted that with the new platform, the user will be able to enter their data and professional profile, so that with the help of artificial intelligence they can find the ideal job, whether in the city, Mexico or the rest of the world.

The mayor of Chihuahua, Marco Bonilla, explained that ChambaBot, is a virtual assistant developed with AI, which filters employment opportunities aligned with the profile, interests and needs of each user, with access to more than 15 thousand international vacancies, allowing Chihuahua citizens to apply for jobs in more than 190 countries, as it integrates recognized employment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Monster, and offers detailed and accurate information about each job opportunity, without having to search on each platform.

Bonilla Mendoza thanked the work of the Directorate of Economic Development and Competitiveness through its director José Jordán Orozco and the creator of the chat Roberto Aguirre Rodríguez, CEO of Change and Code.

So that all the students present at the launching could get to know the “ChambaBot”, its creator and UTCH graduate Roberto Aguirre Rodriguez, made a simulation where the user made a job query and automatically began to show results.

The use of this chat is simple, citizens must enter the website https://ideachihuahua.mpiochih.gob.mx/, where after registering they can log in to start the job search.
