The Chihuahua Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE), in coordination with the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will hold the second edition of the Chihuahua–El Paso Trade Mission on August 12.
The objective of this initiative is to facilitate the internationalization of Chihuahua’s micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the food sector through meetings with Hispanic supermarket buyers, distributors, and commercial agents in the El Paso, Texas, region.
In addition to business meetings, participants will have access to informational sessions with representatives from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), which will address topics such as labeling and safety standards for food products.
The call for participants remains open to agro-industrial producers interested in joining this trade mission. Those interested should fill out an online registration form and will receive guidance on the requirements for exporting.
This activity is part of a binational agenda that seeks to take advantage of the geographical proximity between the two regions to strengthen economic ties and open new markets for local companies.
