CHIHUAHUA – With an investment of US$16 million, the Centro Norte Airport Group (OMA) inaugurated the Terminal Building of the Chihuahua International Airport.
The project included the construction of 5,743 square meters, as well as the remodeling of 9,510 square meters of this airport; all this with the objective of providing greater quality and efficiency in its services, in addition to meeting the growing demand for passenger traffic.
During the inauguration event, the governor of the state of Chihuahua, Javier Corral Jurado, said that this air terminal has a 60% wider area, which will allow a capacity of 900,000 to 1.7 million passengers, and will help provide for better service to its users.
Likewise, Corral Jurado asked OMA executives, as well as SCT officials, for their support for the remodeling of the Ciudad Juarez airport and for the conclusion of the Creel air terminal, since they will also be fundamental in the economic, tourist, and social development of the state.
