AUSTIN, TX – Chihuahua’s Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) highlighted that a delegation participated in the South by Southwest festival, which took place in the U.S. city of Austin, Texas, from March 11 to 16.
The objective of the event was to connect the nearly 300,000 attendees with global professionals in the fields of technology, education, science and visual arts.
During the panel “Venture Bridges: Safe Passage Into International Innovation,” experts discussed collaboration strategies to accelerate the market entry of pioneering companies in technological development, international trade, and MSME growth.
The Government of Chihuahua presented a series of projects focused on high-impact entrepreneurship ecosystems and smart specialization in the areas of electromobility, advanced manufacturing, low-carbon economy, bioeconomy, technified agriculture and logistics centers.
In its 2024 edition, the theme of South by Southwest focused on artificial intelligence, creative economy and fashion and beauty.
