The aerospace industry in Chihuahua currently generates more than 15 thousand direct jobs and more than US$1 billion in exports. Manuel Russek Valles, Secretary of Economy of the State, announced that negotiations are being conducted with several aerospace companies, whose investments exceed US$400 million and will create 3,000 new jobs.
Russek Valles announced that more than 5 million square feet are allocated for industrial buildings to house aerospace companies. The main products and services offered are: high-precision machining, electrical wiring systems, interiors and seats, parts and components, aero structures, rafts and emergency slides, surface treatments, turbines and their parts.
