CIUDAD JUAREZ – The government of the state of Chihuahua is set to launch the first public construction tenders for Ciudad Juarez by next month, which are part of a package of seven projects that amount to an investment of US$60,149.
The minister of Communications and Public Works of the state, Gustavo Elizondo Aguilar, announced that the first constructions will tackle rainwater infrastructure.
These constructions, he said, are required in the city’s downtown, upper zone, and in floodable areas, where dikes and collection vessels are being projected, for which there is a financial ceiling of US$16.5 million.
Another project to be tendered in the coming months is the Francisco Villarreal Torres – Las Torres multimodal corridor, which includes six depressed passes and two overpasses, from Juan Pablo II Avenue to Santiago Troncoso, in Ciudad Juarez.
