Chihuahua seeks to strengthen productive projects in Samalayuca

Representatives from different levels of government participated in a work table to analyze support mechanisms for productive groups in Samalayuca and the Juarez Valley. The meeting was convened by the Rural Development Commission of the Juarez City Council and counted with the participation of the State Secretariat of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE).

During the meeting, the Directorate of Social Economy presented some of the services available for rural community residents, including assistance in the formation of cooperative societies and the management of support for equipment or working capital. These programs are free of charge and are aimed at promoting local initiatives in rural areas of the municipality.

Also present were officials from the Directorate of Rural Development and the Directorate of Economic Development of the municipality, who agreed on the need to strengthen institutional collaboration to broaden the impact of these strategies in the communities.

The participating authorities pointed out that the objective is to generate conditions that favor sustainable economic development and improve opportunities for the population in regions with less access to services.
