The US$25 million investment to establish a component producing plant for the automotive sector and the creation of 400 direct jobs was one of the negotiations formalized by the State Government with a Chinese firm during the Asia promotion tour. This production center will be located in the Municipality of Escobedo and the construction of the facilities will start this year, with prospects to start production in 2018. The company will produce mainly for the U.S. market.
