Chinese firm invests in Coahuila

A new plant by the Chinese company Sanhua was inaugurated at the “Amistad Aeropuerto” Industrial Park in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. This is the first Chinese company to arrive this industrial zone in North Mexico.

It targets production of control components for the heating industry, air conditioning and refrigeration. This plant represents an investment of US$35 million and is expected to generate 600 jobs between permanent and temporary employment, to be concreted in less than two years. Sanhua exports its products mainly to the U.S. and the European Union. Weinfeng Weng, Vice President of Global Operations in Sanhua, said that the company chose Coahuila for its strategic location and the regional development plan on economic matters undertaken by the State Government.
