SONORA – The Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) Sonora and the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) ratified a collaboration agreement in order to strengthen the linkage,8• to continue the synergy and exchange actions for the benefit of the construction sector and its workers.
Karina Maldonado, president of CMIC, explained that this agreement responds to the need to promote more widely the information generated by Infonavit, promote the training of companies, their work teams, and recognize companies that are trained and are meeting their obligations.
Maldonado said that for constriction entrepreneurs it is very important to know the services that Infonavit offers in their different programs that support companies and workers, both in training, as well as advice to companies that require it.
For his part, the head of Infonavit, Vladimir Barboza Vásquez expressed his appreciation to the CMIC for coordinating actions in order to establish comprehensive services for companies affiliated with the agency.
This agreement offers Infonavit training to its members in graduate levels or in certification workshops and master’s degrees through the Technological Institute of Construction, as well as room rental for its events.
