TORREON – The secretary of labor in Coahuila, Román Alberto Cepeda González, said that there is good peace of work in the state, since it is one of the 10 entities in the country that, despite the decline in Gross Domestic Product, continues to generate jobs.
“Coahuila remains first in direct foreign investment with over US$960 per capita, and that is important; last year the entity was also the first national place with approximately US$870,” said Cepeda González.
The secretary indicated that Coahuila has the first national place in labor formality, first place in workers with a written contract, and is within the first 10 states with investments.
“The every-day challenge is to improve wages and conditions; these are steps that are going to be taken little by little,” he said.
