Coahuila Maintains Industrial Growth Despite Tariff Uncertainty

Despite tariff uncertainty that affected global trade in 2025, Coahuila has continued to strengthen its industrial development, according to Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas.

State authorities highlighted that new manufacturing and automotive investments have helped maintain economic activity, even as export-oriented industries faced challenges linked to shifting trade policies and international market conditions.

Officials noted that the arrival of new projects and expansions by established companies has reinforced Coahuila’s competitiveness as a key manufacturing hub in northern Mexico. These investments have also contributed to job creation and stronger supply chains connected to global markets.

The state government emphasized that maintaining security, developing infrastructure, and working closely with the private sector have been essential to attracting investment despite external economic pressures.

Overall, Coahuila continues to position itself as one of Mexico’s most important industrial regions, supported by steady investment and the expansion of its manufacturing base.
