Coahuila negotiates new investment

The Municipality of Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, is currently negotiating three new investment projects for the automotive sector. Ana Gabriela Perez, Director of Economic Development in Ramos Arizpe, stated that two of these companies are Korean and they are suppliers for MANDO and KIA, with plans to invest US$4.8 million each, whereas the third company is based in the U.S. and will invest US$5.4 million.

Ana Gabriela Perez, Director of Economic Development in Ramos Arizpe, stated that two of these companies are Korean and they are suppliers for MANDO and KIA, with plans to invest US$4.8 million each, whereas the third company is based in the U.S. and will invest US$5.4 million.Once the investment plans are completed, Ramos Arizpe is going to close the year with 1,200 new jobs. Ms. Perez also announced that Kolon Industries, an automotive air bag producer, will re-open operations this July at Vymsa Industrial Park, representing an investment of over US$10 million and the creation of 500 new jobs.
