COAHUILA – Coahuila is one of Mexico’s main economic engines, said State Governor Miguel Angel Riquelme Solís, noting that actions have been taken to strengthen investor confidence.
The governor said that, of the northern states, Coahuila is the entity that has more participation in the country’s exports, with a total of 13.2%.
He added that the entity also appears as one of the leaders in other areas, such as the one with the lowest unemployment rate, which is of 3.2%, while the average in the northern zone is of 4%.
“These good results of Coahuila that have been taking place in many of the indicators of social and economic development are part of the hard work that many actors do within my administration,” said Riquelme Solís.
He said that Coahuila is also a leader in the country in terms of attracting foreign direct investment.
“The formula is: security, job stability, administrative simplification, and comprehensive respect for human rights; all this attracts investments and development,” said the governor of Coahuila.
