CHINA – The Governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, began an economic promotion tour in China, with a series of meetings organized by the Mexican Ambassador, Jesús Seade Kuri, where he held meetings with automotive and metal-mechanic companies.
Jiménez Salinas said that the meetings will contribute to the economic growth, the competitiveness of the state and the development of its regions.
During the meetings, it was highlighted that Coahuila is a state in constant growth, with a great industrial development and that it is taking full advantage of nearshoring through the Pro Coahuila initiative.
In addition, the benefits of Coahuila were presented, such as its geographical position, the characteristics of the five regions that make up the state, the type of industry installed in the state, the educational programs, the industrial lodging areas, as well as the advances in security.
Luis Olivares Martínez, director of Pro Coahuila; Blas Flores González, head of Cabinet and Strategic Projects; as well as businessmen from industrial parks and vehicle distributors, such as Hassan Mansur, from Grupo Surman, and Marco Ramón, from Grupo Amistad, are accompanying the governor on this promotional tour of Asia.
