The German company CODAN announced a US$9 million investment for a new plant in Tijuana, Baja California, to manufacture devices for medical transfusion and infusion, as part of the Company’s growth agenda.
The Ministry of Economic Development, Carlo Bonfante Olache, said that the Company has worldwide presence in the business, from design and mold creation, to packaging and distribution of equipment for medical transfusion and infusion. Executives from the company stated that this amount covers to the first stage of the plan, which will last four years and will provide 150 specialty jobs.
