Construction of Cultural Cerro Colorado in Tijuana just began

TIJUANA – With a total investment of US$1 million, of which US$443,823 is a federal contribution, Tijuana City Council began the construction of Casa Cultural Cerro Colorado.

Juan Manuel Gastélum Buenrostro, mayor of Tijuana, stressed that the achievement of this cultural infrastructure work is the result of efforts between society and government.

“It shows that we can work together and we will be able to work with the federation, these works are necessary because of our children and it is the community that must be strengthened,” said Gastélum Buenrostro.

The project will directly benefit Cerro Colorado Delegation, which has an approximate population of 121,000 inhabitants, as well as neighbors of the delegations La Presa Abelardo L. Rodríguez, La Presa Este, Otay Centenario and Sánchez Taboada.
