Cooper Standard inaugurates plant in Ciudad Juarez

Cooper Standard’s Automotive Seals Plant in Ciudad Juarez (Planta Sellos de Juarez), was inaugurated recently with an investment of US$30 million and 750 new direct jobs created. The new factory, located at Parque Industrial Juarez, manufactures systems and components for the automotive industry, such as seals for vans, namely Chevrolet Equinox y GM Terrain.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of the State of Chihuahua, Cesar Duarte Jaquez, and Dave Mijelick, Quality VP; Steve Robinson, Director of the Seals Division, as well as Fernando Meraz, Plant Manager for Cooper Standard, and both the Mayor, Javier Gonzalez Mocken and the Federal Delegate of the Ministry of Economy in the State, David Dajlala, among other personalities.
