CHIHUAHUA – With the aim of boosting the digital transformation and competitiveness of more than 300 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the state, the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) of Chihuahua launched the DiDigitalízate program, designed to support economic growth in the restaurant industry.
The initiative consists of five modules with a total duration of 25 hours, which address topics such as sustainable business models, organizational leadership, state programs for SMEs, hospitality services for the gastronomic sector and digital platform skills.
The head of SIDE, Ulises Fernández Gamboa, said that DiDigitalízate is an essential tool for restaurateurs to modernize their businesses and processes, improve their operations and open up to new markets.
Fernandez added that it seeks to promote digitalization as an engine of economic growth, with the aim of strengthening MSMEs, which represent a fundamental part of the economy of the entity.
For his part, the commercial director of DiDi Food Mexico, Tomás Jaramillo, said that his experience has allowed him to learn first-hand the story of men and women who are dedicated to the restaurant industry, and that through digitization they have managed to grow, increase their orders and provide new opportunities for their families.
The requirement to be part of the program is that the company or business is formally constituted and located in the state of Chihuahua, as well as to register starting November 19 at: https://bit.ly/DiDigitalízateCuu2024.
