EL PASO, TX – Residential and single-family home sales volume in the city of El Paso showed a year-over-year increase during the month of April, the Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University reported.
According to its most recent report, the volume of single-unit residential home sales increased 1.86% year-over-year, rising from 699 to 712 transactions. Year-to-date, sales totaled 2,480 closed listings.
According to the figures, dollar volume increased from $184.81 million to $194.02 million; while the average sales price increased by 3.07% year-on-year, from $264,387 to $272,495, while the average price per square foot increased from $144.25 to $152.34.
In addition, the median price increased 4% year-over-year, from $250k to $260k, while the average price per square foot also rose from $145.67 to $153.85.
Months of single-family home inventory increased from 2.3 to 3.5 months, and days on market decreased from 106 to 105. Single-family home sales volume increased 4% year-over-year.
Single-family home sales volume increased 3.37% year-over-year, from 683 to 706 transactions. Year-to-date, sales totaled 2,442 closed listings.
Texas A&M University noted that dollar volume increased from $181.78 million to $192.31 million. The median sales price increased 2.35% year-over-year, from $266,142 to $272,398, while the average price per square foot increased from $144.63 to $152.20.
The median price increased 3.34% year-over-year, from $251,600 to $260,000, while the average price per square foot also rose from $146.66 to $153.85. The monthly inventory of single-family homes rose from 2.3 to 3.5 months, and days on market declined from 108 to 105.
