EL PASO, TX – The City of El Paso’s Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Department urged local businesses to participate in the 11th Annual Cooperative Purchasing Expo, to be held on Wednesday, April 3.
The expo will be held at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the City of El Paso.
The event is a unique opportunity for local businesses to learn how they can participate in cooperative contracts used by government agencies across the country. These agreements give suppliers the ability to sell their goods and services on a large scale nationwide.
The organizers of the expo said that there is still space available for suppliers to purchase an exhibitor booth, but it is recommended to reserve in advance as space is limited. The expo also offers the opportunity to promote your business to buying agencies and other exhibitors.
It was reiterated that the event is free and open to the public, and represents the largest business networking opportunity in the Southwest.
Resource partners will be on hand to provide information on linkages, financing, state and federal certifications, and everything you need to know about doing business with government agencies. The expo is geared toward all suppliers looking for growth opportunities, as well as those who want to better understand cooperative contracts and establish B2B and B2A contacts.
