SAN DIEGO, CA – The 40th Annual Economy Roundtable on Friday, Jan. 19 at the University of San Diego’s Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice will bring together federal, state and local experts to discuss the economic outlook for 2024.
The free event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Those interested in attending in person can RSVP online. Directions to the event and parking information will be provided.
County Board Chairwoman Nora Vargas will deliver the keynote address. Also speaking will be Timothy Keane, dean of USD’s Knauss School of Business, A.J. Moyer, president and CEO of C3 Bank, and Tony Young, president and interim CEO of the San Diego Workforce Partnership.
Mary Daly, president and CEO of the San Francisco Federal Reserve, and Daniel Enemark, chief economist at the San Diego Center for Regional Policy and Innovation, will give a talk on the national and local economic outlook.
The event will conclude with a panel discussion on the local economy, moderated by Kyra Green, executive director of the Center on Policy Initiatives. The roundtable will feature Jerry Sanders, president and CEO of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Carol Kim, CEO of the San Diego County Building Trades Council Family Housing Corp.
