MONTERREY – Farmacias del Ahorro has growing plans, and this year will open another branch in Monterrey.
This chain has 1,600 pharmacies nationwide, of which about 25 are in Monterrey¾considered one of the main places for its expansion plan.
Beatriz Leonardo Rabelo, director of Special Projects for Farmacias del Ahorro, said that since the arrival of this chain in Nuevo León, they have been positively growing, since the brand has been well accepted by the state. Although he declined to give investment amounts, Leonardo said they hope to continue growing in the entity.
“This year we are going to open several branches with a new store format. We have already opened one under this format in Cumbres, and we are going to have the second one in Santa Catarina,” added the directive.
The new pharmacies’ format that this chain is opening is an upgraded one, in which they offer more beauty products and natural items to prevent diseases.
