Faurecia starts new projects in Coahuila

Faurecia has started new projects in its new automotive seats manufacturing plant, located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. One of the projects is the production of car seat fabrics for the Titan pick-up truck of Nissan, which is produced in the U.S.; other project is for the car backrests of the Audi Q5 for the units that will be produced in Puebla by 2016.

Both projects will generate 200 new jobs. Currently, 540,000 units of seat fabrics and backrests are manufactured in this plant per year, 94% out of which are for export and the 6% remains in the country.
