MEXICALI – Due to the economic dynamism of Baja California, the FedEx Express operating station was inaugurated in Mexicali to provide logistics services including distribution and storage of goods.
“Baja California shows a solid growth trend, so it’ s important to have the support of infrastructure and services that allow the fluid movement of goods and merchandise to close business,” said the director of Promoción y Atracción de Inversión, Manuel Rubio Montoya.
For his part, the president of FedEx Express in Mexico, Jorge Luis Torres Aguilar, said that the new station located in the industrial development El Colorado, has an area of 2,340 square meters, 3 platforms with simultaneous operation capacity, 3 accesses to measure with the ability to expand to 5 allowing to serve up to 23 routes and a FedEx Shipping Center that will facilitate service to all customers in the area.
Last year the company incorporated Tijuana with a new point in its air routes, to have an export/import flight to Memphis, which allows customers in the northeast region of Mexico access to greater opportunities in global markets.
