CIUDAD JUAREZ, CHIH – As part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day, the first edition of Women’s IPC DAY 2024 was held in Ciudad Juarez, with the attendance of public officials, business leaders and special guests.
This event is held in different venues around the world, with the purpose of promoting technological development, training and entrepreneurship among women.
As part of the activities that took place at the Center for Innovation and Integration of Advanced Technologies (CIITA), the current reality in which electronic components, automation and robotics are replacing manufacturing in industry was highlighted.
This is becoming a new way to create value for the development of enabling products for health, research, technology development, entertainment, communications and mobility.
It was also recognized that Ciudad Juarez plays a key role in this area, since a large part of the components that are later used for manufacturing at a global level are developed there, and the quality of the work and the female labor force of Juarez were highlighted.
