First Mennonite aviation school in Mexico was inaugurated

In the municipality of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, the first Mennonite aviation school in Mexico was inaugurated. The event was held in the premises of the commercial corridor, located at kilometer 28.5 and it was attended by authorities and distinguished personalities of the aviation sector.

Michelle Sanchez Manjarrez, Director of the Aviation School and former element of the Mexican Air Force, stated that this project became a reality thanks to the cooperation of the authorities, the enthusiasm of the staff and partners that make up the Aeroclub Manitoba Airfield, represented by its President James Enns Friessen. The aviation school has world class academic facilities, a runway 1680 meters long and more than 10 hangars. The faculty is integrated by senior professionals and commercial pilots with over 30-year experience, Mexican Air Force certified pilots and aeronautical technical staff with vast experience.
