Food processor company to establish in Coahuila

Empacadora Frape, a food processor company belonging to the Comal Foods Firm of the BJ Group, will be established in Torreon, Coahuila, with an investment of over US$6.85 million and a generation of 500 jobs.

The announcement of such investment was headed by Ruben Moreira Valdez, State Governor, Miguel Angel Riquelme Solis, Mayor of Torreon and BJ Group’s executives leaded by their President Pedro Barboglio Jones. The construction of this plant will be conducted soon and will be located at the Parque PYME of the Mieleras industrial zone. Empacadora Frape is already positioned in the exports market and is present in the U.S, Latin America and Asia; it is expected to start operations by the end of 2016.
