SAN DIEGO — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped for the 17th consecutive day, decreasing 1.5 cents to US$$4.066.
According to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service, the average price has dropped 14 cents over the past 17 days, including 2.8 cents.
The decreases follow a run of 19 increases in 21 days totaling 56.3 cents, which pushed the average price to its highest level since July 20, 2015.
It is 8.6 cents less than one week ago, but 31.1 cents more than one month ago and 23.2 cents higher than one year ago.
