General Motors Ramos Arizpe to expand production line

The American company settled in Mexico, General Motors, is preparing to resume two daily shifts in the production line of its Ramos Arizpe plant in Coahuila, after six months of operating merely one shift. The execution of this dynamic will bring in employment to 300 new workers.

The goal the GM Ramos Arizpe executives have is to resume the two shifts as of October 1, this will allow the rise of production from 48 to 52 or 54 vehicles per hour. Said plant will also be producing the Cruze and Cruze hatchback, Equinox and the new Blazer in its different versions.

General Motors is making a multi-million dollar investment in the expansion of its facilities in Ramos Arizpe, so as to build a new painting area as well.
