CHANDLER, AZ – Gummi World, a leading dietary supplement manufacturer, held a grand opening ceremony for its new 55,000 square foot facility in Chandler, Arizona.
Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke, the Arizona Commerce Authority, along with community leaders joined Gummi World President Alexander Candelario to celebrate the grand opening of the multi-million dollar facility, which is expected to bring hundreds of new jobs to the area.
“We are thrilled to be in Chandler, we feel we have found a home here for our new manufacturing facility,” said Alexander Candelario, President of Gummi World, at the grand opening.
The Chandler community is committed to developing a sense of place that attracts visitors and enriches the lives of residents, a fact that played an important role in the company’s decision to expand in the area.
In addition, Gummi World chose Chandler for its high quality, experienced workforce and market reach. The company’s presence is already creating buzz and attracting attention from the Phoenix business community.
State-of-the-art machinery and specialized drying rooms will accommodate the long list of customers the company works with to produce gummy vitamins.
To streamline this process, there are multiple conference rooms within the Gummi World facility for potential or current customers and partners to collaborate on formulating their custom dietary supplements.
“We are delighted that Gummi World has chosen the West Chandler employment corridor for its new manufacturing facility,” said Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke.
Gummi World’s grand opening joins a recent spate of economic activity in the east valley, including ElectraMeccanica and JX Nippon Mining & Metals in Mesa and Corning in Gilbert.
