Eusebio Reynoso, director of the Heineken project in the municipality of Meoqui, Chihuahua, announced that the factory’s construction is a little over 50% complete, with expectations to start operations by late 2017, generating almost 300 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs in its first stage.
247 people were hired initially, 90% out of which are from Delicias, Meoqui and Chihuahua’s capital and are already receiving special training at other plants of the corporation.
