IMMEX companies in Ciudad Juarez increased the number of employed personnel in March

JUAREZ – IMMEX companies in Ciudad Juarez registered a 9.35% growth in personnel hired in March of this year.

According to the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), from 275,562 employees registered in Juarez until March 2020, the figure rose to 301,314, the highest number since 2007.

Compared to February of this year, the monthly increase was of 0.5%, equivalent to 1,501 employees, since at that time the number of employees was of 299,813.

In terms of the number of active establishments, in March 2020 there were 330, while in the same month of 2021 there were 328, one more than the 327 registered in February of this year.

At the national level, the number of personnel employed in establishments with Immex program presented an increase of 0.9% in March 2021.
